Dr. Jennifer Stewart practices as an optometrist/partner at Norwalk Eye Care in Norwalk, CT. She received her Bachelor of Science from Marist College and earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA.

Dr. Stewart started Performance 20/20, a sports and performance training center, in 2016. She works with athletes in all sports to improve their eye/hand coordination, reaction, anticipation, timing, decision making, focus, and attention. She also consults and speaks on the field of sports and performance vision, as well as contact lenses and practice management.

Dr. Stewart has worked with professional athletes from the NFL, NHL and the NBA, and the US Olympic Track and Field Team. She has also trained professional and Division 1 lacrosse and hockey players, along with elite athletes in sports including figure skating, tennis, squash, soccer, softball, baseball, and basketball.

Dr. Stewart is a member of many professional organizations including the American Optometric Association and the Connecticut Association of Optometrists. She has been a contributor to Optometric Office, Optometry Times, Fast OD, Vision Care Product News and Optometric Management. Her work has also been featured in Review of Optometric Business, Contact Lens Spectrum and Women in Optometry as well as Doctor Radio on Sirius XM. Norwalk Eye Care was named a Coopervision Best Practices Award Winner in 2018, and Dr. Stewart was recently awarded the Theia Award for Innovation from Women in Optometry in 2019.
