Helping people enjoy life through better organizational health and team functionality is the driving passion in life for Dr. Larry Golson. Following his graduation from Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Golson moved back to Atlanta as an associate optometrist in 2 different private practices. He experienced and learned from the best and worst aspects of practice operations and teams. In 2006, he moved to Asheville to pursue his own private practice and a great quality of life in the beautiful WNC mountains. He opened Envision Eyecare “cold” in 2008, with an emphasis on delivering an exceptional eye care experience. His practice has grown from the original team of 3 to the current size of 16 team members. During that time, he’s learned from his setbacks, challenges and successes and has built a sustainable model of delegation and continued growth within his practice by elevating his leaders to operate the practice while he lives out of state pursuing a coaching and consulting firm: www.SherpaConsulting.net
