Description

When owners and managers use the word ‘budget’, it’s usually with the idea of limiting spending. But true business budgeting is better described as ‘planning’ or ‘forecasting’. This lecture will teach owners and managers how to set goals that include action steps and ensure that their teams have the resources they need. Learning objectives: 1. Understand why business budgeting looks more like a forecast that calls for new spending than and budget that caps spending. 2. Build the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and sub-goals that give your whole team clarity on how to reach your goals. 3. Create productivity ratios that signal when you’ll need to add staff, optometrists or office space to ‘unlock’ future growth.
