Many optometrists understand the value of claiming and promoting a Facebook page to stay top of mind for eye care and eyewear with current patients, collect recommendations from current patients and advertise to potential patients in their service area. Once the Facebook page for an optometry practice has been claimed and updated with information about the practice hours of operation, business classification, profile photo and link to the practice website, a new challenge faces optometrists and their teams what to post on Facebook, when to post and how to create or source good patient-facing content. In this course, the speaker will present three categories of content ideal for an optometry practice Facebook, how to market on Facebook with the use of monthly themes in a marketing calendar, and ways to tell the brand story of the practice to delight followers, increase reach and ultimately grow the practice.
